I was asked to make the site more manageable for adding articles and just general maintainace, so I decided to use joomla, as this provided some neccessary extensions. However, the extensions used required some major modification to the output code in order to work with other functions.

I discovered a site where a new team had taken over the ownership of and wanted to make the site easier to modify and run more effienctely by use of CSS and DIV's so took the current site and started from scratch to make it into XHTML and CSS from a table based layout. I also implemented a JavaScript based Accordion menu, and PHP visitor counter.
